Dear Sir or Madam,
I’ve written this to compliment your repairman Peter for being able to diagnose and fix my furnace. I purchased from you in 2004. You did an annul tune-up in August 2008. In November, the furnace failed. On December 1, the first repairman indicated that it was not set up properly and that by flipping the switch from Heat to Ventilation and back it would restart. This worked for a week. On December 10, the second repairman did not know what what was wrong and that I should keep flipping the switch. I kept doing this until Monday when it would not re-start. Yesterday, January 13, Peter was able to diagnose a sequencer problem.
It’s hard to diagnose an intermittant problem. Apparently Peter was able to find the problem by testing where the power failed. For the others, I was flipping the switches; the furnace started; nothing seemed wrong. You may want to pass the tip to the others. Hats off to Peter. With the record cold, I’m very thankful.

RE: Installation of Air Conditioner on June 10, 2008
I would like to advise you of the wonderful service which was provided by your employees. Over the past weekend our 19 year old Lennox air conditioner decided to leave this world. As I was away for the weekend my wife was tasked with locating a repairman. Due to the humid weather it was understandable that most of the service technicians were booked solid. However, my wife did manage to locate a technician from Ancor because we had used them in the past.
Unfortunately, the technician who arrived from Ancor was most unhelpful and left my wife feeling extremely upset. He ended up charging her $150.00 and informing her that we needed a new AC unit which we could purchase from Anchor for $4,000.
I decided to call the Home Service Group and was put in contact with Jamie Ladouceur who immediately gave me an extremely competitive quote on a new Lennox AC unit. Mr. Ladouceur said that he would be able to install the new unit by Friday of this week. I was most impressed with his customer service and his knowledge of the products.
Much to my surprise I receive a phone call on Tuesday morning from a representative of your office informing me that due to a scheduling quirk there was a technician available to install our new AC unit that morning.
Gus Laferriere arrived promptly and was extremely professional. My wife was most impressed with his friendly demeanour and his ability to explain to my wife what he was doing and why it was beneficial. She complimented him on his tidiness and his thoroughness.
I wanted to let you know how thrilled I am with my new Rheem top quality furnace. What a difference from the old clunker. I keep the fan on 24/7 as you suggested and you were right - you can’t hear it at all and the temperature is very even on a continuous basis. I can’t hear the furnace turning on and off, so no more intermittant blasts of hot dry air. The system humidifier is wonderful. All in all, the air quality and temperature in the house are making a big improvement. With the insulation I had installed in the basement and the new furnace I’m happy to be making a smaller carbon footprint as well as having a more comfortable home. Thanks so much.
My air conditioner was cleaned and serviced today by Quinn, and I just wanted to say that I was very pleased with the service performed. Quinn was very thorough, competent and personable. The air conditioner did not function at first and he efficiently determined the problem and replaced the necessary part, performed the cleaning and when it appeared the conditioner was still not functioning to his expectations, he took other steps to ensure that the performance of the conditioner was fully up to par before leaving. I consider that excellent service, and comment him and your firm for that.

On August 11th, 2009 your service representative came to my home and gave me an estimate on a new high efficiency furnace and new air conditioner. At that time he also explained the Energy evaluation and duct cleaning required before they were installed. I decided to accept the proposal, the evaluation and cleaning were completed and on August 20th, 2009 the new units were installed for me by your company. I have now gone through a complete season with the furnace and air conditioner and have had the required annual maintenance check.
I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the new furnace and air conditioner. There have been no problems of any kind since both units were installed. Your servicemen, Jamie and Quinn, were very efficient and professional in their work in the installation of the equipment and both are a credit to your company. Care was taken in my home with special carpets placed over floors and carpeting to minimize the possibility of them being soiled or damaged. There was no damage to any wall or entrance in the house or outside when the old equipment was removed, and brining in the new. Everything was done quickly, quietly and with care. The annual maintenance by your serviceman Quinn was performed on both units and they continue to work flawlessly.
Special thanks to Kim who helped me in so many ways with the necessary information not only concerning the installation, but the details regarding government Rebate programs, forms, and answers to my questions about other requirements, (i.e. Energy testing, Duct cleaning etc.) before and after the furnace and air conditioner were installed. It was most helpful and appreciated.
I am enjoying the comfort of the new equipment and wanted to send you this letter of appreciation. I would highly recommend your company to anyone considering a new furnace or air conditioner. If you wish, you may list me as a reference.
